waited for so long to say to you ... ♥ 9:47 PM
Three random facts you might not know about Catherine. Written to satisfy my need for procrastination. Will be categorized under three different topics.
Literature:
Briar Rose, one of my favorite books. A mixture of both fiction [ fairy tale ] --> which just happens to be my favorite princess (sleeping beauty) + history.. which also happens to be of a historical event i'm extremely extremely interested in and have done much research for (the Holocaust) ... <3 what more can i ask for in a book? LOL. I remember receiving this as part of my birthday present years back and being able to re-read it over and over again. Has one of the most unique story-line styles you will find in a book. I was so obsessed with the book that i even contemplated calling my future daughter Briar Rose, or Rose Briar.. (back during the days i was crazy over the name Rose, Rosie, Rosalynn.. etc) But then i decided i didnt want ' thorns ' in her name so the thought subsided :(
Boys:
I have a feeling most people think that doing business majors myself, my ideal partner.. would also be doing business majors. INCORRECT. I just don't find them interesting.
Me: "so what subjects do you do"
Boy: "bla bla business bla bla"
Me: - ZONE OUT-
Yes, while most typical [ asian ] boys do business majors... i would very much prefer someone doing architecture, law, arts, psychology, med, science... etc. Performing arts.. Design.. that's probably a bit too gay.. but you get the idea right? Honestly, the only business related major i "once" approved of and liked ideal partners doing [ was ] actuarial studies. HAHA. Notice the past tense? I liked guys doing that major because the qualities a person tends to have associated with doing the major are pretty much qualities i prefer in guys. However - having dated an actuarial guy .. being around him and his [ actuarial ] friends, made me realise one thing they all seemed to share. C-H-E-A-P-N-E-S-S. Ofcourse, this doesn't apply to all actuarial students.. maybe just him and his friends, but it has pretty much turned me off any future actuarial students >=[
Childhood:
I came to Australia when i was 5 and i spent my afternoons learning english through watching Play School, Angry Beavers, Rugrats, and Catdog. The first day of kindergarden was terrifying for me because being accustomed to asian kids {from preschool}, i wasnt comfortable with hanging around all the multicultural kids.. each with their own ethnic backgrounds. Of course, there was also my limited english - the only sentence my mum taught me was "I need go toilet" LOL. -_-" I cried for a week straight and when we all had to hold hands and line up in pairs, i always refused and caused a scene. Hello? Cooties? That was kindergarden. Years 1-3 were my favorite years. There was no stress about getting into O.C (LOL), HS was very far down the track, and during that time, my english was becoming fluent. During those three years i decided to make myself Teachers Pet and would cry every time the teacher got mad at me, because i would be so disappointed in myself. Guess you can say nonetheless, i had a happy childhood :)

Catherine
